Attorney Charleen E. Merced Agosto was born and raised in Caguas, Puerto Rico, where she ​attended Colegio Catolico Notre Dame. She attended University of Rochester where she earned ​her BA is Psychology and minored in Spanish Literature in 2005. She served as the President of ​the Spanish & Latino Students' Association (SALSA) and was a member of Alpha Phi Fraternity ​and served in its leadership board.

Attorney Merced Agosto then earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut ​School of Law in 2008. Whilst in law school, she was the President of Latino Law Student ​Association (LLSA), Student Liaison of the Connecticut Hispanic Bar Association (CHBA) ​and worked with the Admissions Department to further student diversity enrollment. Whilst in ​law school, Attorney Merced Agosto clerked for Hon. Edward J. Mullarkey in Hartford ​Superior Court.

Her practice focuses on Family Law, General Litigation, Bankruptcy, and Real Estate. She is ​regularly appointed by several Connecticut Probate Courts to represent minors, She is fluent in ​Spanish and English (written and spoken for both). Attorney Merced Agosto has been selected ​to Super Lawyer's Rising Star for the years of 2015-2022.

Charleen is active in several nonprofit and local organizations. She is an avid cyclist. Attorney ​Merced Agosto resides in Milford.
